Bendigo Bank Anniversary Event

On the 31st January 2025, Heath Sikkema (Chair, Business SJ) and Emma Payne (Vice Chair, Business SJ) attended the 20th Birthday Celebration Event for Byford & Districts Community Bank (Bendigo Bank’s Byford branch).

Business SJ was one of 20 not-for-profit community organisations selected by Bendigo Bank to receive a $1000 gift, as part of their 20th Anniversary Giveaway.

The event was held at the lovely Quarry Farm event centre in Mundijong. It was an enjoyable evening and we were able to learn more about the positive impact that our community-run bank has been having in our local area. We extend our thanks to Bendigo Bank in Byford for the generous support that they continue to show to our community and our local business networking group.

Business SJ will be sharing details about how that prize money will be allocated, during the upcoming AGM meeting in June.
