This will be a refreshing and different approach to business networking!
Step away from your desk and into the forest on Tuesday 5 May for a Walk and Talk, a guided net walking experience designed specifically for local small business owners in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.
Hosted on the newly opened Whim Trail, this relaxed 3 km walk winds through lush jarrah forest and provides the perfect setting to slow down, breathe deeply, and have the kind of conversations that rarely happen in boardrooms.
At just $20 per person, this is not a hike focused on distance or pace. It’s about connection, conversation and clarity.
This event has been organised by the Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire. It is a combined initiative with the Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire, Business SJ, Peel Chamber of Commerce and the Byford CoLab.

What is Walk & Walk?
Walk & Talk is a guided, lightly facilitated walk in nature that brings local business people together to share ideas and experiences, talk through challenges and pain points, learn from one another in a supportive and informal setting, and build genuine local connections. By stepping outside the usual office or meeting room environment, conversations flow more naturally and people often feel more open to sharing insights, asking questions and offering support. Think networking without the awkwardness, and professional development without the PowerPoint.
